light the lamp

Diwali – the darkest night of the year becomes the brightest by lighting of millions of lamps inside and outside home. Diwali is the celebration of light over darkness! This Diwali let us light a LAMP in our heart

Let us light the Lamp of Liberation – Let go of fear! Many fear failure but you can liberate yourself of fear by treating the root cause. The choice will always be yours – live with your fear, face your fear, deal with fear or let go of fear.

Let us light the Lamp of Abundance – Think big! We limit our actions by limiting our thinking. I can never attain good health, I cannot accumulate so much wealth in this life, I cannot travel the world etc. Let us accept that such thoughts do no good to us. Lighting the thought of abundance will open you to possibilities and opportunities like never before. Give it a shot!

Let us light the Lamp of Mercy – Simply forgive! Holding grudges just makes the journey of life heavier. Travel light. Just as old books of accounts are closed and new business books are opened – simply forgive all those who have wronged you and close the old books of who did wrong. Write off the grudges and start the relations with freshness. Happier people forgive and forget easily!

Proper Knowledge:

Let us light the Lamp of Proper Knowledge – Don’t Assume! Let us be open to the fact that there are many things that we don’t know and its ok that we don’t know. The wiser thing to do is ask or get proper knowledge rather than assuming things. Very often our assumptions start becoming our beliefs and when such assumptions are shaken it makes us bitter. Let us decide to become knowledgeable and be comfortable with our pace of learning. If we don’t know something let us not assume anything but rather be open to all possibilities and answers and above all have the courage to say “I don’t know”. Its cliché but true -Assume’ makes an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘me’!

Today when we light the lamps outsideLamp of Diwali our house let us light the LAMP in our heart as well 🙂

Wishing all a very happy Diwali!!!
